About the facility:
The Townsville Hospital and Health Service Podiatry Department is an accredited National Association of Diabetes Centres (NADC) Centre of Excellence in High‑Risk Foot Services. Within this environment, podiatrists endorsed by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) are supported to safely prescribe Scheduled Medicines as part of their clinical practice.

Competitive salary and benefits:

- Salary range: $79,051 to $116,189 p.a. (HP3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
The Podiatrist will deliver evidence‑based High‑Risk Foot services to consumers of Queensland Health, providing care for people with chronic disease and complex foot conditions, including amputations, ulceration, peripheral neuropathy, peripheral arterial disease, and significant foot deformity. The role encompasses both inpatient and outpatient service delivery within Townsville University Hospital and across the broader Townsville region.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications (Podiatry) and proof of registration (AHPRA).
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
