The Nutrition and Dietetics Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Dietitian Advanced (Food Services) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
Using advanced level nutrition and dietetic clinical food service management and consultancy skills you will be responsible for the advancement and delivery of high-quality food services to stakeholders and consumers within the MHHS to achieve excellence in patient care, while fostering and promoting sustainability, education, and research in this area.
The position is based at Mackay Base Hospital (or at a location within the MHHS catchment as negotiated at the time of recruitment) and will operate across all MHHS services and facilities.
About the Team
Our Nutrition and Dietetics Service delivers care to patients, both children and adults, throughout our hospital departments as well as in outpatient, community and rural settings. As experts in nutrition, our Dietitians provide education and practical support to enable patients to make dietary choices that will maximise their health and wellbeing.
About our Hospital and Health Service
Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
