The Division of Medical Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Rapid Access Service Medical Oncology) to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
The Clinical Nurse Consultant is an employee who is a registered nurse who:
- Is appointed to an advanced practice nursing position; and
- Demonstrates a specialised clinical expertise and/or specialised skill set.
About the Team
The Clinical Nurse Consultant position provides an opportunity to contribute to an innovative model of care, delivering improved services within the Division of Medical Services in the MHHS.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant will improve patient access to clinical care, provide alternative opportunities for care, clinical processes, and ongoing service developments.
The Unit supports the delivery of evidenced based health care and timely access to care. The Clinical Nurse Consultant will contribute to this by delivering health care in a variety of settings including direct, telephone and telehealth to patients accessing care.
