Social Worker - Senior

Deliver advanced Social Work services in acute hospital settings, supporting patients with complex psychosocial needs. Provide leadership, supervision, and drive quality care across multidisciplinary teams.

About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
- Deliver high level clinical advice and work work collaboratively and effectively with other Social Work practitioners, multidisciplinary team, professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding social work service delivery and the prioritisation and development of clinical services.
- Monitor and report Social Work clinical work practices and outcomes within the hospital and initiate, plan and evaluate service improvement activities to enhance the delivery of Social Work services and quality patient care.
- Provide high level guidance to service planning and contribute to the implementation of evidence-based reviews and service evaluation activities to support continuous quality improvement and maintenance of clinical practice standards within social work services, and within specific clinical service areas, including multidisciplinary team.
