Administration Coordinator (Ambulatory Care)

About the role
The purpose of this role is to lead and manage administrative services with the Service Line. Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe and equitable support to clinical and corporate services. The role is accountable for administrative service performance, workforce leadership and continuous improvement to support operational objectives.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Lead the strategic development, implementation, review and continuous improvement of administrative services to meet organisational and Service Line objectives.
- Ensure delivery of high‑quality, sustainable administration services within the Service Line through consistent processes, reliable data, sound governance and effective project management, applying Lean improvement methodologies.
- Drive and embed quality improvement initiatives through analysis of work practices, identification of improvement opportunities and facilitation of staff‑led initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, analyse and resolve workflow and service delivery issues impacting quality, efficiency and performance outcomes.
- Lead change management and moderately complex projects to support service transformation and operational improvement.
