About us:
Atherton Hospital is a 56-bed acute rural inpatient facility located on the southern Atherton Tablelands. The health care team at Atherton Hospital is committed to providing excellence in patient care.
Atherton Hospital provides medical, surgical, and maternity services to the town's approximately 8,000 residents. It also offers a wide range of specialist outpatient services and extends its support to rural communities through outreach programs.
About your new role:
In your new role you will……
- Provide high quality clinical care to hospital in-patients and patients at rural clinics.
- Assist the Director Medical Services, Atherton Hospital in the development of safe medical practice and optimising clinical skills for medical and nursing staff.
- Provide a high standard of care for patients and their families, contributing to improving the health of the local population.
As a Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service employee, not only will you receive competitive base salary up to $274,678 per annum full time (L18 – L27) or up to $216,643 per annum full time (L13 – L18), you will also have access to:
- Generous superannuation (up to 12.75%)
- Attraction & retention allowance (up to 45% of base salary)
- Inaccessibility incentive allowance ($13,800 per annum full time 100% paid after 12 months service)
- Professional development allowance (up to $22,145 per annum full time)
