You will lead the development and management of communications planning and delivery for the major capital and infrastructure projects, and you will be a key part of an integrated project team for the Cairns Hospital Master Plan.About this role
About Us:
The Strategy, Planning and Infrastructure team leads service and infrastructure planning and oversees major capital projects across CHHHS. The team works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure planning aligns with models of care, workforce needs and government priorities. Its focus is on delivering sustainable infrastructure that supports safe, effective health services.
About you:
This role will take the lead in developing and managing communications planning and delivery for the major capital and infrastructure projects across the directorate. While you will be embedded in the Strategy, Planning and Infrastructure project team, you will also work closely with the Communications and Engagement team to fulfill requirements and ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to communications and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop and implement a broad range of communication and engagement plans that align to organisational and infrastructure project goals.
- Plan, develop and deliver proactive content and media stories to advance CHHHS's strategic objectives and coordinated closely with the Communications and Engagement team.
- Write, edit and proof engaging content for various media platforms and channels according to style guides, including media releases, speeches, issues briefs, websites, fact sheets, marketing collateral and newsletters.
- Maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and external consumers and community groups to research, prepare and develop relevant content, advise on opportunities and respond to changes in stakeholder needs and expectations.
