About us:
Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service provide an extensive range of health services at more thatn 30 regional, rural and remote facilities across a geographical area of 142,900 square kilometres. The Health Service is 95 percent self-sufficient with only a small number of high- level acute services being provided in Townsville and Brisbane.
Mossman Hospital is a rural Multi Purpose Health Service located North of Cairns serving the Mossman community and surrounding regions, including many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. It provides essential health services such as emergency care, inpatient medical care, residential aged care and community-based healthcare.
The hospital focuses on delivering safe, high-quality, and culturally appropriate care, with an emphasis on meeting the unique needs of a diverse and often geographically isolated population. Staff work closely within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care, health promotion, and chronic disease management.
Mossman Hospital offers a supportive, community-focused environment where healthcare professionals play a vital role in improving health outcomes and access to care in a rural setting.
About your role:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop, implement and evaluate care plans

Flexibility to work across different clinical areas within a rural hospital setting

Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred nursing care in accordance with clinical standards and policies
