As the Oral health Therapist or Dental Therapist, you will Contribute to the provision of a high standard of oral health care to all eligible clients of the Cairns and Hinterland Oral Health Services through the delivery of dental therapy / dental hygiene services working within a multidisciplinary team.About this role

Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service delivers a comprehensive range of public dental services across Far North Queensland through the Oral Health Service. The service forms part of Queensland Health's public oral health care system and is committed to improving access to high quality patient centred care. Services are delivered across community‑based clinics and health facilities, supporting preventive care, assessment, treatment, and emergency oral health services for both adults and children.

About your opportunity:
In this position you will….
- Actively pursue professional development to maintain recognised standards in general oral health care and health promotion.
- Provide clear direction to support staff and practical support for other oral heath staff in their responsibility to provide an effective and efficient oral health service.
