The Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service is a public mental health service with a catchment area that extends from Tully in the south to the outermost Torres Strait Island in the north and westward to Croydon.

About your new role:

In your new role you will…… 

• Proactively lead the delivery of best-practice inpatient, community mental health, and Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs (ATOD) assessment and management services across Cairns and Hinterland MHAODS, drawing on specialist psychiatric expertise, training, and experience.
• Lead and uphold robust clinical governance frameworks to support the delivery of safe, effective, and evidence-based care, under the strategic direction of the Mental Health and ATOD Service Clinical Director and Service Director.

As a Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service employee, not only will you receive a competitive base salary (total remuneration):

• Salary up to $281 545 per annum full time (L25 – L27)

Remuneration up to $486, 948 per annum full time (L25 – L27) or,

• Salary up to $257 932 per annum full time (L18 – L24)

Remuneration up to $445, 335 per annum full time (L18 – L24)
