Provide a high standard of oral health care to eligible patients/clients of GP Oral Health Service (GPOHS).
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide high quality general dental practitioner oral health services in Tertiary Hospital Facilities. Coordinating treatment from other Health Professionals. Preventative and emergency care for long term inpatients and On-demand consultations with internal hospital departments e.g. Emergency Department physicians.
- Have advanced clinical skills, competence, and experience to provide the full range of clinical procedures within the general dental scope of practice, including complicated dental extractions, and some minor oral surgical procedures.
- Provide high level professional advice and information and liaise effectively with clients and their families, with members of the multidisciplinary team and with other health professionals, internal and external stakeholders to enable efficient and improved dental services.
- Provide clinical leadership, support, and advice to the Oral Health Services clinicians.
