Senior Advisor
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Advisor to join the Department of Health for an exciting fixed-term temporary opportunity for 6 months | In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and delivering contemporary career entry pathways and learning and workforce development initiatives that support current and future workforce needs across Queensland Health.
About this role
The role
As the Senior Advisor, you will contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality career entry pathways, learning and workforce development that support Queensland Health's strategic priorities. Reporting to the Manager Attraction, you will engage with stakeholders across Queensland to design and implement initiatives that address capability gaps and strengthen workforce pipelines.
The successful person
You will have:
- High-level communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills to build and maintain effective relationships across diverse teams.
- Specialist knowledge and experience in delivering career entry, learning, and workforce development initiatives, including contemporary approaches to attraction, capability building and early career pipelines.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop business cases, project plans, and progress reports.
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate career entry and workforce development programs, ensuring high-quality delivery, continuous improvement and positive participant experiences.
- Experience in providing high-level HR advice in a complex environment, including legislative compliance and continuous improvement strategies.
