Senior .Net Developer - Talent Pool
The Department of Health are excited to welcome applications for a Senior .NET Developer to work within our Corporate Enterprise Solutions Division! The focus of Corporate Enterprise Solutions is to provide solutions and services that support Queensland Health’s Enterprise Corporate Applications and supporting payroll transactional processes. This application suite includes the largest integrated rostering and SAP payroll solution in the public sector and the SAP S/4HANA finance, business and logistics solution and management environment (S/4HANA solution).
About this role
The role of the Senior .NET Developer is to lead development activities for Corporate Enterprise Solution's custom suite of applications in line with quality standards and procedures.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Lead development activities for Corporate Enterprise Solutions custom suite of applications in line with quality standards and procedures.
- Provide second level support for the applications and work collaboratively with first level technical support staff to ensure defined service levels are met.
- Develop and maintain procedures and documentation in relation to software changes.
- Provide technical advice and perform quality reviews on code developments and specifications to ensure that quality standards are maintained.
- Undertake unit testing of customised software to ensure changes meet requirements.
- Develop and support automation testing activities.
Role fit:
- Demonstrated ability to effectively perform the requirements of the role within a large complex and geographically dispersed ICT environment.
- Demonstrated ability to participate effectively in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices, including: employment equity, anti-discrimination, ethical behaviour, and occupational health and safety.
- Experience in developing and supporting employee self-service and customer relationship management applications, with a focus on UX, accessibility, data privacy, and security considerations.
- Experience with IT systems as outlined in the attached role description.
The ideal candidate will preferably have forged their skillset through working in and leading large and complex business implementations. As a broad indication, it is anticipated that candidates will have a minimum of 7 to 10 years' experience in such roles.
