Biomedical Technician Advanced (Test Equipment Calibration)

We are seeking a Biomedical Technician Advanced (Test Equipment Calibration) to join the Biomedical Technology Services team within Clinical Support Queensland, based in the Brisbane Metropolitan area. This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of healthcare technology while contributing to patient safety, quality improvement and the delivery of reliable healthcare services across Queensland Health.
About this role
What you'll do
In this role you will:
- Deliver advanced technical services including calibration, maintenance, installation and repair of health technology and test equipment
- Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Coordinate and manage service activities and work programs
- Provide technical advice and support to stakeholders and healthcare staff
- Work collaboratively with team members, suppliers and stakeholders
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Holds an Associate Diploma, Advanced Diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering or Technology
- Has experience in maintenance, repair, calibration and technical support of health technology equipment
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and manage technical service delivery
- Demonstrates a commitment to quality management and continuous improvement
- Holds or is able to obtain relevant licences and certifications as required
