Biomedical Technician Advanced
Take the lead in delivering advanced biomedical technology services that support safe and effective patient care across hospital facilities.
About this role
The purpose of this role is to provide advanced technical services including installation, maintenance, repair and optimisation of biomedical equipment, ensuring the safety, reliability and performance of health technology systems across clinical environments.
What you'll do
In this role you will deliver specialised maintenance and repair of biomedical equipment, coordinate technical work activities and service schedules, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, support installation and commissioning of medical devices, engage with clinical stakeholders and suppliers, and contribute to continuous improvement of technical standards and service delivery.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Holds relevant qualifications in biomedical engineering or technology
- Has extensive experience maintaining and repairing health technology equipment
- Can troubleshoot complex technical issues independently
- Has strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Can coordinate workloads and service delivery activities
- Has knowledge of quality and safety standards in healthcare environments
