Biomedical Technician Senior
Deliver advanced technical support for critical medical equipment across hospital and health services. In this role, you’ll ensure biomedical devices are safe, reliable and performing at optimal levels to support high-quality patient care.
About this role
The purpose of this role is to provide advanced technical services including maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of biomedical equipment, ensuring safe and effective operation across healthcare environments.
What you'll do
In this role you will perform maintenance, repair and fault-finding on biomedical equipment, install and commission new devices, provide technical support to clinical staff, manage service schedules and documentation, analyse equipment performance data, liaise with suppliers and stakeholders, and contribute to quality improvement and service delivery across multiple healthcare sites.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Has experience in biomedical technology, electronics or engineering
- Can perform maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of equipment
- Has strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Can work independently and manage competing priorities
- Has strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Holds or is working toward relevant licences or certifications
