Biomedical Technician Cadet - Mechanical/Instruments

About this role
The purpose of this role is to provide technical support while undertaking structured training and study, developing the skills required to deliver maintenance, repair and support services for biomedical equipment.
What you'll do
In this role you will assist with maintenance, repair and servicing of biomedical equipment, support installation and commissioning activities, perform general technical and administrative tasks, manage equipment and consumables, develop hands-on skills in a workshop environment, and complete formal study requirements as part of a structured cadetship program.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Is enrolled or eligible to enrol in a relevant engineering qualification
- Has an interest in mechanical or biomedical technology
- Has strong problem-solving and practical skills
- Can work effectively in a team environment
- Has good communication skills
- Has attention to detail and willingness to learn
