What's involved – Provide effective project management skills to the role out of Local Government Area based disaster recovery initiatives as jointly funded through commonwealth and state governments. This is in response to the mental health impacts experienced in communities following the Western Queensland Surface Trough and Associated Rainfall and Flooding, 21 March - 19 May 2025. This funding has been approved for a two-year community mental health program to assist disaster-affected individuals, volunteers and communities with specialist clinical mental health support and emotional wellbeing post-disaster.
