About this role
What your day will look like….
You'll be part of a dedicated rural generalist team providing hands-on clinical care to inpatients, outpatients and emergency presentations, collaborating closely with Senior Medical Officers, allied health professionals and visiting specialists. Your day will be filled with opportunities to diagnose, treat and manage a diverse range of cases, contribute to clinical discussions, and take part in regular teaching and training sessions. You'll play a key role in coordinating patient care from admission through to discharge, maintaining strong communication with patients, their families and local GPs. Every shift brings variety, professional growth and the satisfaction of knowing your work has a lasting impact on the health of the Stanthorpe community.
Do you have the following:
• MBBS or equivalent.
• Current AHPRA General or Specialist Registration.
• Minimum of two years practice within the Australian healthcare system is preferred.
• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification is required or willing to complete upon commencement.
• Evidence of recency of clinical practice, supported by current references.
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $150,240 (L9) comprising salary rates between $129,583 (L4) and $150,240 p.a. (L9), professional development allowance, professional development leave 1.6 weeks p.a., and professional indemnity cover. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
