Join a multi-disciplinary team providing recovery focussed care to adult clients with severe and complex mental health conditions who require a more intensive and goal-oriented support service as part of their recovery journey.

• A passionate clinician who finds purpose in rehabilitation and recovery focused care
• Someone who is energised by the challenge of supporting people with severe and complex mental health conditions
• A team-oriented professional who embraces sharing challenges and successes
• A great communicator who builds trusting and respectful relationships
• A confident clinician who can autonomously manage their own case load

As a MIRT clinician, your day involves:       

• Walking alongside individuals living with severe mental illness, recognising, respecting, and honouring their unique recovery journey
• Providing person-centred, recovery-oriented care
• Engaging with individuals in ways that best support their individual needs
• Developing meaningful relationships with clients and their families
• Supporting individuals in their desire to engage in meaningful occupation:
  • Collaborating with consumers, caregivers, and other stakeholders to help people pursue their recovery goals in an occupation-centred way that values choice, autonomy, and lived experience
  • Using discipline-specific assessments and interventions to understand each person's strengths, challenges, and aspirations, and to support them in meeting their goals
