Make a difference in the lives of patients with complex mental health care needs
Join a multi-disciplinary team providing recovery focussed care to adult clients with severe and complex mental health conditions who require a more intensive and goal-oriented support service as part of their recovery journey.
The clients are diverse, the cases are complex, the work is extremely rewarding …. and we are looking for clinicians to join us.

- Someone who is energised by the challenge of supporting people with severe and complex mental health conditions

- A confident clinician who can autonomously manage their own case load
As a MIRT clinician, your day involves:
- Walking alongside individuals living with severe mental illness, recognising, respecting, and honouring their unique recovery journey
- Providing person-centred, recovery-oriented care
- Engaging with individuals in ways that best support their individual needs
- Developing meaningful relationships with clients and their families
- Supporting individuals in their desire to engage in meaningful occupation:
- Collaborating with consumers, caregivers, and other stakeholders to help people pursue their recovery goals in an occupation-centred way that values choice, autonomy, and lived experience
- Using discipline-specific assessments and interventions to understand each person's strengths, challenges, and aspirations, and to support them in meeting their goals
