Senior Medical Officer - Psychiatry
About this role
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $330,497 (L14) comprising salary rates between $89.87 (L13) and $92.68 p.h. (L14), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, Locality allowance, inaccessibility incentive, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.

As a Senior Medical Officer- Psychiatry, you'll support high‑quality mental health care that strengthens patients, families, and the wider community. You'll work closely with a committed team to guide safe practice, promote recovery, and shape coordinated services across the region.

- Medical registration (or eligibility) and recognised medical degree
- Significant experience in psychiatry
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership across multidisciplinary settings
- Commitment to continual learning and high‑quality clinical practice
