Clinical Nurse
About this role
What your day could look like
As a Clinical Nurse, you'll play a vital role in strengthening care delivery and supporting patients and families across the Dalby community. From coordinating complex care to guiding teams through critical clinical decisions, you'll help create safe, consistent, and compassionate care experiences while building capability across the service.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Leading advanced clinical care and decision‑making for patients with complex needs
- Partnering with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support positive outcomes
- Shaping safer practice through quality initiatives, risk management and improvement projects
- Coaching and mentoring nurses to grow confidence, capability and connection
Let's talk about you!
You're a confident clinician who brings both expertise and empathy to your work. You lead with compassion, act with integrity, and treat everyone with dignity—especially in challenging moments. You enjoy being hands‑on while also lifting others up, and you take pride in seeing care improve because of your leadership. You're not just here to deliver care; you're driven to create meaningful change for patients, teams and a regional community that values what you do.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Current registration (or eligibility) as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Advanced clinical experience with strong critical thinking and care coordination skills
- The ability to lead, support and influence others in a fast‑paced clinical environment
- A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement
You'll stand out from the crowd if you bring experience in rural or regional practice and/or postgraduate study relevant to your clinical specialty.
Above all, you'll embody compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage—helping shape care that truly makes a difference.
