Medical Superintendent
About this role
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $520,895 (L27) comprising salary rates between $362,256 (L13) and $520,895 p.a. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
What your day could look like
As Medical Superintendent, you'll help shape healthcare outcomes for the Dalby community by combining clinical excellence with medical leadership. You'll work alongside a dedicated team to deliver safe, high-quality care while influencing how services grow and improve.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality inpatient, outpatient and emergency care
- Providing expert clinical care and supporting seamless patient journeys across services
- Driving service improvements that enhance safety, quality and patient outcomes
- Mentoring medical and clinical staff while supporting education, governance and community health initiatives

You're an experienced clinician and leader who brings calm judgement, compassion and confidence to every situation. Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Current medical registration and recognised general practice or rural generalist qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality care across a broad clinical scope
- Strong leadership, communication and team-building skills
- Commitment to patient safety, clinical governance and continuous learning
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have rural or regional healthcare experience and/or advanced skills in areas such as emergency medicine, anaesthetics or obstetrics.
