Deputy Director Medical Services

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value from $316,007 (L13) up to $489,067 (L27) comprising salary rates between $92.56 (L13) and $135.55 p.h. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.

What your day could look like

As Deputy Director Medical Services, you'll help create the conditions for exceptional care by supporting medical teams, strengthening workforce capability, and guiding initiatives that improve patient outcomes. Working closely with senior leaders and clinicians, you'll influence decisions that enhance current health services and safeguard future opportunities.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

• Leading medical workforce initiatives that strengthen recruitment, retention, capability and service sustainability.
• Partnering with clinicians and leaders to enhance clinical governance, patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Driving improvement projects that streamline services, support innovation and strengthen medical practices.
• Providing expert advice on workforce planning, organisational priorities and strategic service development.
