About this role
What your day could look like
As an Operational Services Officer - Groundsperson, you'll help create an environment that is safe, welcoming and well maintained for patients, residents, visitors and staff. From caring for gardens and outdoor spaces to supporting the smooth operation of health service facilities, your work will contribute to a positive experience for everyone who visits the service.
Every day, you'll contribute by:

Let's talk about you!
You're someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in a job well done and understands the impact a well-presented environment can have on a community. With compassion, integrity and dignity at the heart of how you work, you bring a practical mindset, strong work ethic and a willingness to contribute wherever needed. You'll feel proud knowing your efforts help create spaces that support care, comfort and connection every day.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening or horticultural services.
- Ability to safely operate, maintain and complete minor upkeep of grounds equipment.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety, manual handling practices and safe chemical use.
- A current C Class Driver Licence and a collaborative, reliable approach to work.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have a Certificate III in Horticulture (or are working towards it) and/or experience maintaining grounds in healthcare, aged care or community settings.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is passionate about creating safe, welcoming spaces and bringing courage and care to the work they do every day.
