Physiotherapist
About this role
What your day could look like
As a Physiotherapist, you'll play a vital role in helping people stay active, independent and connected to their community. From delivering evidence-based care across a variety of clinical settings to working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues, you'll contribute to better health outcomes while building trusted relationships with patients and families.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Delivering high-quality physiotherapy services that support recovery, wellbeing and independence across a diverse caseload.
- Partnering with patients, carers and multidisciplinary teams to develop personalised care plans and achieve meaningful outcomes.
- Using your clinical expertise to prioritise care, solve complex challenges and support safe, effective service delivery.
- Contributing to a culture of learning, continuous improvement and innovation that strengthens healthcare across the region.
Let's talk about you!
You're someone who combines clinical expertise with care for the people you support. You approach challenges with confidence, communicate openly and build strong relationships. Whether you're helping a patient achieve an important recovery milestone or collaborating with colleagues to improve care, you take pride in making a positive difference every day. You bring compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage to your work and want to be part of a team that shares those values.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Registration as a Physiotherapist with the appropriate professional registration authority.
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to person-centred care.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience working in rural or regional healthcare settings and/or additional training or professional development in a relevant clinical area.
Together, you'll help deliver exceptional care while living the values that guide Darling Downs Health every day.
