About this role
What your day could look like
As an Administration Officer, you'll help keep vital aged care services running smoothly by supporting residents, families and staff with responsive, high-quality administration. From coordinating information and managing key processes to maintaining essential records and financial transactions, your work will contribute to positive experiences and efficient service delivery.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Creating a welcoming and professional first point of contact for residents, families, visitors and staff.
- Supporting accurate records, documentation and aged care processes that enable safe, efficient and compliant services.
- Coordinating administrative and financial activities that help services operate smoothly and reliably.
- Working closely with the care team to ensure information is accessible, organised and supports quality resident outcomes.
Let's Talk About You
You're someone who brings both capability and care to your work. You communicate with compassion, act with integrity and take pride in providing accurate, reliable support in a busy environment. You enjoy being the person others can depend on, balancing competing priorities while helping residents, families and colleagues feel supported and informed. Most importantly, you understand that great administration helps create great care experiences.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Demonstrated administrative experience with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Well-developed communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and electronic information systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities and contribute positively within a team environment.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in aged care, health or community services and/or qualifications in business, administration or finance.
Above all, you'll bring the values we live by at Darling Downs Health: Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage, helping deliver services that make a meaningful difference every day.
