Director - Strategic Workforce & Capability Support
The role is accountable for Delivery Support Services, Strategic Workforce and Capability Support Functions, that includes Project Management Delivery Frameworks capability support and uplift, Strategic Workforce and Demand Management, Practice Management, Talent Acquisition and Centralised Workforce Management, providing strategic leadership, management of all identified services including people, processes, tools, frameworks, standards, and functions. It will lead the establishment, embed, and enhance existing services as well as define new service offerings to enable successful Program and Project delivery across a large and complex portfolio.

Reporting to the Senior Director – Delivery Support Services, this role is accountable for leading the Strategic Workforce and Capability Support Function.
The function is responsible for the following services:
- Centralised Resourcing comprised of:
- Organisational Change and Training
- ICT Test Management and Assurance
- Cyber Security – Gateways
- Capability Support, comprised of:
- Project Delivery Community of Practice
- Project Support Community of Practice
- Business Change Community of Practice
- Business Analysis Community of Practice
- Solution Architecture Community of Practice
- Capability Support
- Workforce Planning & Demand Management
- Provides a targeted Workforce Planning and demand management function for Delivery Services Branch
- Leads the development, management, maintenance, and currency of the Delivery Services Branch Workforce Strategy, including planning and demand management for centralised resources and portfolio pipeline.
- Talent Acquisition
- Provides Talent Acquisition Services for the Delivery Services Branch, including resource management, recruitment, establishment, and associated reporting.
- Responsible for maintaining, managing, and reporting on Delivery Services Branch obligations as it relates to industrial relations obligations and compliance, development, and implementation of robust processes to ensure and demonstrate ongoing compliance.

- Demonstrated track record of effectively developing, managing, and supporting a high performing and service-oriented team.

About Delivery Support Services
Within the Delivery Services Branch, Delivery Support Services supports the successful management and delivery of eHealth Queensland's digital, ICT and ICT-enabled assets and services aligned to the Department of Health's strategic objectives and eHealth Investment Strategy priorities. It drives delivery performance through pragmatic program and project management advice and mechanisms that enables consistent delivery of outputs, capabilities, outcomes and benefits to Queensland Health.
Delivery Support Services support programs and projects to deliver customer expected outcomes on time and within budget. Our aim is to drive continuous improvement in program and project management practice supporting and enabling delivery teams to be successful.
