Principal Business Intelligence Developer
The Delivery Support Services team is seeking a Principal Business Intelligence Developer to support the development and continual improvement of our modern Azure‑based data and analytics platform. This is a key role responsible for designing and delivering business intelligence solutions that enable high‑quality reporting and insights across the organisation.
About this role
The role:
As the Principal Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a key role in designing, delivering and optimising business intelligence solutions for the Digital Delivery Portal (DDP) Platform and broader analytics environment.
Working within the Portfolio Reporting & Analytics team, you will contribute to a complex, multi‑layered data platform that includes Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Delta Lake and Power BI.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and delivering business intelligence solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights
- Designing and optimising Power BI semantic models and datasets
- Supporting the optimisation and continuous improvement of the Azure Lakehouse platform
- Preparing high‑quality datasets to support advanced and predictive analytics
- Working collaboratively with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver fit‑for‑purpose data solutions
This role is critical to ensuring that data across Delivery Support Services is accessible, reliable and structured to support organisational reporting and analytics needs.
