Podiatrist
Deliver a competent level of podiatric clinical service for a varied and complex caseload within a high risk foot service as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary care team delivering services to stakeholders and customers of Queensland Health across hospital and community health centre based settings.

The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Podiatrist to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Deliver safe, high-quality podiatry care within a team
- Apply sound clinical judgment in routine and complex cases
- Contribute to service improvement and clinical protocols
- Provide clinical practice and operational supervision to work experience students or those in observational clinical placements
- Engage in ongoing learning to build clinical expertise
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Tertiary degree in Podiatry
- AHPRA Registration
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Driver Licence
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent part time (38 hrs p.f.).
- Base salary ranging from $39.86 - $58.59 per hour
About Us
High Risk Foot service is a Podiatry led service aimed and increasing access to assessment, care planning and interventions for patients with high risk of developing foot ulcers that can lead to amputation if not managed in a timely and appropriate fashion.
The Diabetes team consists of a Podiatrists, credentialled Diabetes educators, Dietitians and Endocrinologists. The service provides treatment to clients of the Gold Coast University Hospital and Robina Hospital, and Health centres such as Tugun Satellite Health Centre and Helensvale Community Health Centre. The Podiatry service also has strong networks with various services like Vascular Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery and Infectious Disease.
