About Your New Role

Are you looking for a role with real meaning and purpose? Gold Coast Health have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our newly developed Secure Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit and make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake holistic mental health consumer care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Ensure effective record keeping and follow documentation practice standards with support from a multidisciplinary team
• Develop clinical practice knowledge and expertise through active learning within the team and engaging in professional development activities

Qualifications

To be successful in this position you will require:

• A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
• NMBA Registration
• Driver Licence
• Credentialed through the College of Mental Health Nurses (or willing to work towards it)
• Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
• Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

• Permanent full time, Permanent Part time (multiple positions, hours negotiable)
• Temporary full time, Temporary Part time (multiple positions, hours negotiable, up to 12 months with the possibility of extension)
• Base salary ranging from $85 236 - $109 330 per annum or $42.98 - $55.13 per hour
