About this role
The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Human Resource Business Partner to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Initiate, influence and manage relationships with all areas of Gold Coast Heath
- Provide influential HR consultancy and advice to leaders to implement strategies and interventions that improve employee engagement
- Research and interpret issues providing HR advice to people leaders on key workforce challenges
- Identify, analyse and review emerging issues and trends relating to people and organisational capability
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Temporary full time or temporary part time (up to 12 months with the possibility of extension, hrs negotiable)
- Base salary ranging from $125 002 - $133 898 per annum or $63.04 – 67.53 per hour
About Us
The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) team support Divisions and Directorates within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS).
The HRBP will provide a link to the various Human Resource (HR) functions available within the Directorate of Human Resource Services, GCHHS and assist in the development of a high performing, customer and solution focussed team culture through human resource consultation, advice and support.
The HRBP will also provide assistance in creation and implementation of people management strategies to assist all managers and leaders.
