Your opportunity:
- The Senior Staff Specialist/ Staff Specialist (Anaesthetist) provides specialist anaesthetic care and related medical services in the Department of Anaesthetics, Bundaberg Hospital.
- Assist the Clinical Director and Executive Director Bundaberg and Rurals to ensure clinical services provided are of the highest standard and delivered in an efficient and effective manner.
- Assist with the education and supervision of trainees and other medical staff, medical students, allied health and nursing staff.
Permanent Full Time (80 hours p.f.) and Permanent Part Time Positions (hours negotiable).
Opportunity for Private Practice:
The successful candidate may have the opportunity to establish private practice outside of their WBHHS appointment with local private hospitals. The successful candidate may receive assistance and concessions with:
- Use of the local private hospital's sessional rooms to allow establishment of practice and referral pathways
- Assistance with credentialling and administrative support to commence private practice
- Introduction to local GP's, physicians and surgeons to facilitate referral pathways.

Our offer:
We are offering a competitive remuneration package value up to $549,694 p.a., including salary between $216,643 - $274,678 p.a., (f/t) or salary rates $103.79 - $131.60 p.h. (p/t), generous employer superannuation (up to 12.75%), salary sacrifice perks, and flexible rostering for optimal work/life balance. JAR: H2604WB679353.
