Principal House Officer (Bundaberg)
We are seeking a motivated and capable Principal House Officer to join our Integrated Care team within the Bundaberg Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to develop advanced clinical skills in subacute and transitional care while working alongside a multidisciplinary team. Bundaberg Hospital is part of the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service, delivering high-quality healthcare to a diverse and growing population. Integrated Care Services focuses on improving outcomes for patients with complex needs through coordinated, innovative care delivery across hospital and aged care environments.

Your opportunity:
- To participate in the provision, development and maintenance of an effective, efficient and equitable clinical service to the hospital patients in consultation with consultants, visiting specialists, nurses and allied health professionals.
- To contribute to the continual upgrading of medical education, and dissemination of knowledge to staff and patients.
- A Principal House Officer is a medical practitioner in the third or subsequent year of practical experience after eligibility for full registration as a medical practitioner.
- The appointment will be to the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service for the provision of services across all Integrated Care Services, including Bundaberg Hospital, Palm Lake Bargara and other Aged Care Facilities. This provides the successful applicant with opportunities to undertake additional shifts and increase their working hours, subject to service needs.
Temporary Part Time (38 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for up to 12 months

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $86,132 p.a., comprising salary rates $67.50 - $74.14 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) and vocational training subsidy (L4-L7) (Temporary Part Time, 38 hours p.f., from date of appointment for up to 12 months).
