Your opportunity:
- The Registrar / Principal House Officer will provide high quality, safe and person centred medical care to the consumers accessing the Mental Health Intellectual Developmental Disability Team within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
- Working as part of a multi disciplinary team, the position will contribute to the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of people with intellectual and/or developmental disability who experience mental health concerns, behavioural challenges or complex health needs.
- The role will support a recovery-orientated, trauma informed and culturally responsive approach to care with a strong focus on promoting consumer choice, dignity, participation and quality of life.
Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for 12 months with the possibility of extension

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $186,501 p.a., comprising salary between $137,861 - $159,387 p.a. (L4-L9) or salary between $137,861 - $151,417 p.a. (L4-L7) , employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), Vocational Training Subsidy (L4-L9) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment for 12 months with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
