Data Specialist

About this role
About the Role
The position of Data Specialist will manage and maintain data quality, data audits and data monitoring of core clinical and non-clinical information management systems, to support high quality and safe care within Children's Health Services.
You will:
- Demonstrated expertise and experience in the management, administration and technical aspects of the systems listed above, including functionality, auditing and interpretation of information.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain quality management strategies, organisational change and best practice principles, initiative and concepts in relation to information management.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary staff at various levels throughout a large, diverse organisation, including demonstrated high level of written, interpersonal skills, consultation, training and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability in preparing and presenting reports, pro-actively analysing situations, identifying practical and creative solutions and successfully implementing them.
- High degree of initiative, problem solving and organisational skills, with an ability to work as part of a team and to meet deadlines.
