Clinical Lead
This role is responsible for providing clinical and professional leadership to a team of counsellors delivering 24/7 Statewide alcohol and drug telephone and online support services, ensuring high standards of care and alignment with Adis service initiatives.

About the role
It is the purpose of this role to provide clinical and professional leadership to a large workforce of counsellors delivering 24/7 Statewide alcohol and drug telephone and online services to ensure the maintenance of clinical and professional standards within the service, aligning with Adis service initiatives.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide authoritative advice as a reference point for clinical escalation and support for clinical decision making for a large counselling team.
- Utilise effective communication skills to work cooperatively and effectively with clients and carers, the multidisciplinary team, other Hospital and Health Services, government and non-government support agencies, General Practitioners, Universities and Private Practitioners to assist with the promotion and development of Adis services.
- Provide advanced clinical oversight of Adis interventions delivered by a large Statewide counselling team, including routine auditing of calls and webchat interactions to ensure fidelity to the Adis Model of Care.
