Lead. Influence. Deliver. HR Leadership Opportunity - North West Queensland location!
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources (HR) leader to provide strategic and operational leadership across the North West Hospital and Health Service. This permanent full time position will lead the HR team, partner with Executive leadership, build organisational capability, workforce strategy and cultural transformation.
This position is based at Mount Isa Hospital however flexible working arrangements may be considered for the preferred candidate. Relocation support may also be available for those looking to make the move.

About the role
This is a pivotal leadership position responsible for shaping and delivering the Human Resource strategy across the North West Hospital and Health Service. Reporting to the Executive Director, People, Culture and Planning, you will influence strategic direction, organisational design and workforce capability while leading a high performing HR, workforce and learning and development team. You will operate as a trusted advisor to senior executives, providing authoritative guidance on complex workforce, industrial relations and organisational development matters.
- Lead and develop a HR team to deliver outstanding workforce and organisational development services.
- Design and implement a fiscally responsible organisational development strategy that strengthens capability, engagement and performance.
- Provide high level strategic HR and industrial relations advice, including complex case management and union consultation.
- Partner with Executive leadership to drive cultural transformation, workforce planning and sustainable organisational growth.

Requirements
- Whilst not mandatory a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
- A period of probation may apply.
