An opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse to provide advanced, autonomous care and clinical leadership in a 24-hour Level 2 remote hospital. Deliver culturally safe, high‑quality emergency and inpatient care while leading and supporting multidisciplinary teams in Doomadgee.

About the role
At Yellagundgimarra Hospital Doomadgee, you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert clinical care and professional leadership across emergency presentations, inpatient care, and complex client needs in a remote healthcare setting.
- Provide advanced, autonomous clinical care and leadership across emergency, acute, and complex patient presentations, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and person‑centred care.
- Lead and support nursing teams, including coordination of shifts, supervision, delegation, mentoring, and acting in the Nurse Grade 7 role when required.
- Deliver culturally responsive and safe care, working collaboratively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers and community members.

Requirements
- Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
- A period of probation may apply.
