About the role
The Principal Analyst – Clinical Intelligence provides senior analytical leadership to support evidence-based clinical and operational decision-making across Metro North Health. The role leads the design, development and optimisation of end-to-end clinical intelligence solutions, transforming complex data from multiple systems into high‑quality, trusted insights for stakeholders at all levels.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Lead using your experience and technical skills (SQL,Power Query, Fabric) the reliable, efficient and repeatable extraction of clinical data from multiple and disparate data sources for use in HHS wide decision making.
- Perform a PowerBi administrator & Performance enhancement role for HEI developed artifacts including performance improvements, technical support, data security, system maintenance, automation, monitoring and management of dashboards used across the HHS.
- Lead the development and architecture of end-to-end clinical intelligence solutions, including scoping, data modelling, curation, report creation and visualisation for a variety of clinical applications. This includes continual performance improvement, maintenance and the production of periodic and ad-hoc dashboards.
- Lead automation work to continually improve timeliness, accuracy, transparency, defensibility and repeatability of clinical intelligence artifacts and reports used by various teams across the HHS.
- Apply experience in discrete event simulation modelling and statistical methods to create robust and tested clinical models.
