Principal Maintenance Planner

Permanent full-time opportunity to lead and shape best practice maintenance planning for Metro North Health’s buildings portfolio, delivering strategic oversight of asset master data, preventive maintenance frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives across a large, complex healthcare environment.

About the role
Permanent full‑time opportunity to provide strategic leadership in Asset Management through close collaboration with Maintenance Services and Engineering Delivery teams, delivering strategic direction for the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of holistic maintenance planning across the Metro North Health buildings portfolio.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in Maintenance Planning across Metro North and the wider Department of Health through standardisation, digital enablement and data-driven practices.
- Develop, implement, and maintain technical framework and business rules for wholistic maintenance planning inclusive of quick reference guides, policies and procedures, and training packages for master data and preventive maintenance activities across the Metro North portfolio.
- Develop reporting requirements inclusive of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on Metro North S/4HANA Enterprise Asset Management master data sets to ensure Metro North are meeting statutory maintenance requirements.
- Develop and implement routine quality assurance reporting and auditing of master data to confirm data integrity across the portfolio and make recommendations to improve data quality.
