About this role
Your new role:
As an Enrolled Nurse Advanced Skills (ENAS), you will play a vital role in delivering safe, evidence-based care within a specialised Endoscopy Unit, working with a high-performing multidisciplinary team.
- Provide advanced clinical nursing care across diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy services, ensuring a person-centred approach to patient outcomes
- Work with a high level of autonomy under indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, contributing to care planning, delivery, and evaluation
- Apply specialised knowledge in gastroenterology/endoscopy while supporting quality, safety, and infection control standards
- Contribute to education, quality improvement initiatives, and collaborative team practices within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
About you:
You are a skilled and motivated Enrolled Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and continuously developing your clinical expertise.
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as an Enrolled Nurse, with demonstrated advanced clinical capability
- Strong experience or interest in gastroenterology/endoscopy nursing, with the ability to integrate theory into practice
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to person-centred care
- Proactive in professional development, quality improvement, and supporting the learning of others within a clinical setting

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
