Your new role:
As a Nurse Manager within the Division of Surgery, you will play a pivotal leadership role driving strategic initiatives, clinical excellence, and service improvement across a complex healthcare environment. Working closely with senior leaders, you will influence outcomes through innovation, collaboration, and evidence-based practice.
You will:
- Lead and deliver divisional projects and clinical redesign initiatives
- Drive quality improvement, benchmarking, and patient outcome optimisation
- Provide expert advice on resource management and service delivery
- Support strategic and operational planning across the division
- Lead change management and continuous improvement activities
About you:
You are an experienced and forward-thinking nursing leader with strong strategic, clinical, and operational expertise. You thrive in complex environments and are passionate about driving innovation and improving patient outcomes.
You bring:
- Proven experience in senior nursing leadership or management roles
- Strong clinical knowledge within surgical or acute care settings
- Demonstrated success in leading change and service improvement
- Advanced problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
- Experience in resource management, including workforce and finance

The surgical division incorporates peri-operative services, acute inpatient surgical units and surgical ambulatory care services.
