About this role
Your new Role:
This senior pharmacy role leads the design, delivery and evaluation of medication safety and Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) initiatives across Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals. You'll provide advanced Drug Use Evaluation (DUE) expertise, influence multidisciplinary practice, and guide evidence-based improvements aligned with national standards and accreditation. Working closely with governance committees and senior leaders, you'll drive research, education and innovation to enhance patient safety, optimise medicines use, and strengthen clinical capability across the service.
- A seven-day clinical service, weekend shifts and an emergency on-call service are a compulsory part of this position.

You are an experienced and forward-thinking pharmacist who leads medication safety and QUM initiatives with expertise, influence and a strong commitment to patient-centred care.
- Advanced expertise in QUM and Drug Use Evaluation (DUE)

- Strong data analysis and quality improvement capability
- Skilled in education, research and workforce development

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
