Medication Safety & Quality Improvement Pharmacist

Your new Role:

This senior pharmacy role leads the design, delivery and evaluation of medication safety and Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) initiatives across Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals. You'll provide advanced Drug Use Evaluation (DUE) expertise, influence multidisciplinary practice, and guide evidence-based improvements aligned with national standards and accreditation. Working closely with governance committees and senior leaders, you'll drive research, education and innovation to enhance patient safety, optimise medicines use, and strengthen clinical capability across the service.

• A seven-day clinical service, weekend shifts and an emergency on-call service are a compulsory part of this position.

You are an experienced and forward-thinking pharmacist who leads medication safety and QUM initiatives with expertise, influence and a strong commitment to patient-centred care.

• Advanced expertise in QUM and Drug Use Evaluation (DUE)
