An exceptional advanced training opportunity acting at unaccredited MFM Fellow level, building specialist expertise in high-risk obstetrics, fetal medicine, leadership, and procedural skills within a high-volume tertiary maternity service.
About this role
Your new Role:
This Advanced O&G Registrar (Maternal Fetal Medicine) role at Logan Hospital provides high-level training equivalent to an unaccredited MFM Fellow within a busy tertiary unit managing high-risk pregnancies, fetal anomalies and complex obstetric care. The position offers structured experience in advanced obstetric ultrasound, fetal diagnostics and procedures, multidisciplinary clinics and MDTs, alongside senior after-hours roster participation and labour ward leadership. It also supports progression through Advanced Obstetrics and related training pathways, with involvement in education, audit, and clinical service improvement.
About You:
You are a senior O&G trainee with a strong interest in Maternal Fetal Medicine, seeking advanced experience in high-risk obstetrics, complex fetal care, and clinical leadership within a tertiary referral setting.
- Progressing towards or enrolled in RANZCOG advanced training pathways
- Strong interest in Maternal Fetal Medicine and high-risk pregnancy care
- Competent in core obstetric and gynaecological skills with sound clinical judgement
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary, high-acuity environments
- Committed to education, leadership, audit, and continuous clinical improvement
