Advance Your Surgical Career in Women’s Health at Logan Hospital
Temporary Full-Time opportunity from February 2027 to February 2028 at Logan Hospital, Meadowbrook, for an Advanced Trainee Registrar seeking hands-on experience in advanced gynaecology, laparoscopy and consultant-level O&G practice.

Your new role:
Take the next step in your specialist training with a unique senior registrar opportunity designed to support your transition toward consultant practice through advanced surgical exposure, leadership experience and high-volume clinical care, including:
- Opportunity to complete the Advanced Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic ATM
- Dedicated advanced training in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures
- Exposure to complex pelvic pain and severe endometriosis surgery
- Participation in consultant/senior staff rosters with supported first on-call experience
- Running operating lists, outpatient clinics and supervising junior doctors
- Senior after-hours Birth Suite experience in a busy high-risk obstetric unit
- Inpatient, outpatient and emergency obstetrics & gynaecology care
- Involvement in teaching, audit, leadership and service improvement initiatives
About you:
We are looking for a motivated and capable Advanced Trainee who is ready to grow clinically and professionally, with:
- Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia
- RANZCOG Advanced Trainee status or eligibility to undertake Fellowship training
- Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynaecology, including emergency management
- Interest in advanced gynaecological surgery and laparoscopic practice
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to lead, mentor and support junior medical staff
- Commitment to education, continuous learning and quality improvement
