About this role
Your new role:
As a Nurse Manager within the Primary Care Partnerships Unit, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to enhance outpatient service delivery, patient access, and system performance. You are:
- Lead and support best practice in outpatient systems, workflows, and models of care to optimise patient access and outcomes
- Drive data-informed decision-making through analysis, reporting, benchmarking, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to improve service efficiency, compliance, and performance across outpatient departments
- Champion innovation, education, and evidence-based practice to strengthen workforce capability and service delivery
About you:
You are a highly experienced and forward-thinking nursing professional with strong leadership capability and a passion for improving healthcare systems and patient outcomes. You have:
- Proven ability to lead change, influence stakeholders, and drive service-wide quality and performance improvements
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data systems, reporting, and healthcare performance optimisation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and delivering person-centred care

Unit Profile
The Metro South Health Primary Care Partnerships Unit (PCPU) is an outpatient supporting and enabling service encompassing the MSH Central Referral Hub, General Practice Liaison Officers, Business Practice Improvement Officers, and management of the ESM outpatient scheduling system for MSH.
The collective of support services assist outpatient departments deliver safe quality care, providing advice and guidance on best practice, workflow, compliance, data, reporting and funding. PCPU staff have a unique set of skills and use multiple applications in day-to-day activities.
