Join Metro South Health as a Director Support Officer and play a vital role in supporting the Nursing & Midwifery Practice Development Unit. In this fast-paced and highly autonomous role, you’ll provide high-level executive and administrative support, ensuring seamless operations, effective communication, and coordination across multiple stakeholders and facilities! About Your Role
As the Director Support Officer, you will provide comprehensive, confidential, and high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Director of Nursing & Midwifery Practice Development Unit.
In this role, you will:
- Manage complex diaries, appointments, and meeting coordination
- Provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to the Director
- Screen and manage incoming communications, emails, and enquiries
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce administration processes
- Manage rostering, leave, payroll documentation, and HR processes
About You
You are a highly organised and proactive administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in executive or senior administrative support roles
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong diary management, coordination, and organisational skills
- Experience with HR systems, rostering, and workforce processes
- Experience in healthcare or hospital settings (highly regarded)
- Knowledge of systems such as myHR, S4HANA, MSHLearn (desirable)
- Ability to work independently while supporting a wider team
