Tradesperson - Electrician
Keep Critical Hospital Infrastructure Running
Deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across major Metro South Health facilities, ensuring safe, compliant and reliable infrastructure that supports quality patient care.
About this role
Your new Role:
As an Electrician, you will perform maintenance, testing and repairs on electrical infrastructure across Metro South Health sites. Working independently and within a skilled trades team, you will manage priorities, undertake HV/LV switching and isolations, support plant maintenance, and ensure all works meet safety, legislative and quality standards while delivering responsive, client-focused service.
About You:
You are a skilled and safety-focused Electrician with experience in maintaining complex facilities, capable of delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will have:
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance, testing & compliance
- Strong knowledge of WHS, electrical legislation & standards
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks & liaise effectively
- Experience in hospital or large-scale facility maintenance environments
- Confident using CMMS systems and digital maintenance platforms (e.g. S/4HANA)

Operating under a centralised Building, Engineering & Maintenance model, the service drives efficiency, continuous improvement and a multi-skilled workforce, with trades staff working flexibly across sites to meet service needs.
