About this role
Your new role:
As a Registered Nurse in Ward 4A, you will deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care while working collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to coordinated and holistic patient care
- Take accountability for clinical decisions, delegation, and the supervision of Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing, and other team members
- Contribute to continuous improvement through adherence to clinical standards, participation in quality initiatives, and application of evidence-based practice
About you:
You are a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and continuously developing your clinical expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe, high-quality, person-centred care with strong clinical judgement and critical thinking skills
- Commitment to professional development, lifelong learning, and applying evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Proven ability to take initiative, demonstrate accountability, and contribute positively to team culture and patient safety outcomes

Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital:
The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
